In this tutorial i hope you will learn how to make a flash movie file in which a
shape will move about, that doesnt sound interesting or hard but this is for a total beginner
Obviously you will need flash you can trial it for 30 days by downloading it from

I downloaded flash today and couldn't find any easy tutorials to start off with so that why I'm doing this tutorial, before doing this tutorial if you are a total beginner i suggest watching at least
the first two videos on this page:

Right so making a shape move:
First open a flash document:

Then double click the "fps" box (below)

 ,

a options window should appear, change the fps
(frames per second) to 60 or wanted speed.

Next add frames by holding down F5 until there's 60 frames in the selected layer.
Using 60 frames @ 60 fps with make 1 second of "movie".

Then Select the first frame:

Now we can add the shape/circle, select the circle button, then draw a circle on the "stage":

Then to tell the software that we want the shape to move, Right-click on the first frame and select
"Create Motion Tween":

Then select the 30th frame:

And select the "Selection tool":

And move the shape/circle to another position on the "stage":

Then select the 45th frame and then select the "Selection tool"
and move the shape/circle to yet another position on the "stage":

Then select the 60th/last frame

and then select the "Selection tool" and move the shape/circle to the same position as it started on the "stage":

Then press "enter" to watch your movie once.
Now you can save the movie as a .swf so it can be viewed with a flash player by pressing File >> Export
>> Export movie then save in wanted folder, next open that folder and double click to view.

Hope you could understand the tutorial,

Bin

thanks for this bin! 1 thing though: 60 fps could get laggy i recommend 30 fps as this is closer to real-time
